At Kukummi Lodge, we are privileged to share our private nature reserve with a diverse array of wildlife. We often spot animals like bushbuck, duiker, civet cat, larger spotted genet, brown hyena, wild boar, vervet monkey, African dormouse, porcupine, baboon, and jackal in their natural habitats. Bird enthusiasts can enjoy sightings of owls, kites, crowned eagles, fish eagles, vultures, African grey hawks, sparrows, Egyptian geese, sun birds, and Secretary bird from the lodge.

We invite you to join us for short nature hikes, where you can explore the beauty of our surroundings and visit one of our three nature cameras. These cameras offer a unique glimpse into the daily and nocturnal lives of the creatures that call our reserve home.
