Our Exclusive Trails

Our guests have exclusive access to a variety of unique hikes and trails on the Rood Nature Reserve, ranging from light to difficult. These trails offer an immersive experience through indigenous grasslands and lush green forests, leading to remarkable destinations such as the 'Bushman Cave' and beautiful natural pools. One of the highlights is the trail to the base of the magnificent Sterkspruit Falls, located within the Rood Nature Reserve.

Additionally, it is possible to hike directly from the lodge into the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ukhahlamba/Drakensberg National Park. All our trails are meticulously mapped on the AllTrails app, allowing guests to easily navigate and explore.
